I Got Back Up Off the Couch, and am back at full financial strength.
I got really depressed after being fired from a job I thought was going to take me to F.I. Everyday I just sat here on the couch doing nothing but getting up, entertaining myself, and going back to bed. I don't have anything to offer anyone. But I saw an ad in the newspaper for a factory job. And for whatever reason I decided to call them. I didn't feel motivated. I didn't feel anything. I didn't want to do it, and I didn't not want to do it. But this factory job has called me back, and hired me. Amidst the Corona virus fears, I have worked every day for the last 6 months. Savings is back at five figures, checkings is back, and all the stocks that I owned are still there pushing out those dividends. I also have lost like 50 pounds. Things are not all rosy though. I have numbness and burning pain running down my back to my knee, without health insurance. My car is needing maintenance so it can keep running. The landl...
