Fish where the fish are.

At risk of ruining a perfectly good title.

I think its silly that people are looking wherever is easiest to fulfill their life.

The people at work turn to coworkers to find love.
The people at the gym turn to each other to form social groups.
The people at church create their own exercise groups.
The people at the bar are there on an important business deal.

Like for real people?  You actually have to go to the lake if you want to catch a fish.  You can't just throw a lure out the window because it happened to rain yesterday.

People Who Win the Lottery End up Broke

I've heard that a significant percentage of people who win the lottery end up bankrupt. They simply did not have what it takes to handle the wealth that they were hoping to get. What brings these people down?  Is it a bad attitude that brings these people down?  Is it a lack of resources other than finances?  Is it a lack of a support system?  I don't have the answers, but I do see this as a  serious and important question. This is important because we have all won lotteries.   I've won the time lottery, this being the greatest time in the history of earth to be alive. I've won the genetic lottery, because clearly I'm smarter than the loser who passed me driving down the road this morning. I've won the country lottery, having been born in a country that other people risked life and limb to get to. I've won the physical health lottery, because I can still walk, talk, and take action. I WANT THE STOCKS! (Been fired from work).

At first I was insulted because I considered being fired without the opportunity to present my side and supporting evidence (audio tapes, witnesses, and emails) a sign of disrespect.  Did they really think I did the unethical thing they are lying about me doing? But then I was angry...I AM NOT A LOSER!  How dare they try to lower me to their level. Now I'm just depressed, because more then anything there is a deep urge in me to buy more of the stocks.  I WANT THE STOCKS!  But I can't buy them yet, not until I get a high paying job. There is a saying that goes something like this...if you do good will you not be rewarded?  And once again the answer is a resounding no.  There are no rewards in doing the honorable, moral, just, and ethical thing.  There's just a lingering sadness....a what if. What if I had recorded my bosses as they lied to the workers compensation board so that I don't get back treatment in order for them not to have record able...
